Rochester Scientific, LLC is a scientific consulting, software development, and research company providing services requiring expertise in physics, with emphasis on Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) physics and resonant light-matter interactions.

We offer considerable capabilities in computer modeling of physical systems, in particular those involving light-atom interactions, such as laser guide stars, atomic magnetometers, and nitrogen-vacancy color centers in diamond. We have also worked in the application of atomic-physics methodology to nuclear magnetic resonance and the related areas of magnetic-resonance imaging and nuclear-quadrupole resonance. In addition, we offer extensive knowledge of theoretical and experimental AMO physics in general, and have experience in development of interactive visualization and educational materials.

Rochester Scientific was founded in 2010 by Dr. Simon Rochester, developer of the Atomic Density Matrix package for Mathematica, and Dr. Dmitry Budker, a professor of Physics at the University of California, Berkeley and a recognized expert in AMO physics.
